Legend was chosen personally by Quincy Jones to join him in Bermuda for a rare collection of performances, billed as “Quincy Jones & Friends”. He will perform on the final evening of the Festival, Saturday, October 31. Earlier this year, Jones penned Legend’s profile for the 2009 TIME 100 Most Influential People issue (http://tinyurl.com/ckckjk), where he honored Legend for his “complete understanding of where he comes from, musically and spiritually.” Legend recently finished a recording for an upcoming album that pays tribute to Quincy Jones.
