Venue & Schedule
Venue Location
Imagine an all-night party at the Roman Colosseum and being entertained by some of the world’s most celebrated musicians – then you’ll begin to get a taste of attending The Bermuda Music Festival in 2009. This year the stars come to paradise amidst the majestic environs of the Keep Yard at the Bermuda Maritime Museum. Celebrating its 200th anniversary, the Keep Yard was originally built as a British Naval Installation and is surrounded by the historic Dockyard. Although recently renovated, the Keep
Yard continues to be the home to boats, ferries and cruise ships from around the world.
With a backdrop of glistening, clear blue Bermuda waters, pink sand beaches and the kind of sunsets one usually only sees in films, the Keep Yard sits on the edge of the island. The
surrounding Dockyard offers a range of additions to the entertainment experience – from the zen-like calm of swimming with the dolphins in the Dolphin Park, to bustling restaurants and pubs offering international fare with island hospitality. On the weekend of October 29-31, modern musical technology combines with old world charm to create the perfect venue for soaking in the transcendent sounds of headliner Quincy Jones and his World Orchestra.
